Meeting

THE
OPENING ACT
In
Jonathan Turners absence, the membership rose to the occasion and challenge of a
capella entertainment. President Ormsby did show up on her newly-engineered pair of stilts
so that she could see past the podium.
Tom Stontz reported on the food drive which will
be in effect through next Mondays meeting. Please bring in money, cans, or any old
MREs or C-rations you might have stored away.
We also received updates on Fright Night, Pancake
Day, and the Governors visit. Details are the same as published in last weeks
newsletter.
Nominees are being solicited for Lay Person of
the Year.
Guests included members of the Alleman High
School Key Club.
In Fun and Fellowship, Char Dahl won the
preliminary prize, which she graciously donated back to the Club. Gene Smith won the
opportunity to go for the grand prize but, like his beloved Cubs, he fell just a bit
short.
